Plus 5 days’ work experience in a salon.

We require a refundable deposit of €300. This is on the basis that you meet the eligibility criteria. (All learners must fully commit and engage with the programme). This deposit is a standard procedure and serves as a commitment from your side to participate in the course. Rest assured that the deposit will be fully refunded upon completion of the course. We will promptly refund the full deposit amount back to the original payment method you used during registration. Requirements
No previous experience in hairdressing required. All materials are included.

Course Overview
The course will offer the learner both theoretical and practical subjects as they enter the hairdressing industry. The learner will not only receive hands on time with the tutors, but also have access to video content as well as a comprehensive workbook to assist them at the start of their career journey.

Course Content

Day 1
Morning –
Induction for the 10 days. Hairdressing Industry overview. History of hair fashion overview & Shampooing presentation.
Afternoon – Perfecting the blow-dry: straight & curly demonstrations & workshop. The learner will cover what products to use, sectioning and multiple techniques.
Day 2
Morning – Classic to contemporary styling demonstration. The learner will cover what products to use, sectioning and multiple techniques.
Afternoon – Workshop blow-drying & styling
Day 3
Morning – Angles, layers and graduations demonstration. Scissor & comb management & One-length hair cut demonstration.
Afternoon – workshop one-length hair cut. The learner will cover sectioning and how to handle scissors.
Day 4
Morning – Consultation & Square layer demonstration
Afternoon – workshop (either continue working on one-length haircut or square layer)
Day 5
Morning – Induction and colour theory, health & safety.
Afternoon – preparing foil & weaving and global colour demonstration
Day 6
Morning – colour theory & presentation: t-section & half head of highlights.
Afternoon – workshop (either global colour, t-section or half head of highlights)
Day 7
Morning – Presentation: Round layer & setting/heated rollers
Afternoon – cutting workshop
Day 8
Morning – Hair structure and blow-drying demonstrations (flick with volume & wrap)
Afternoon – workshop
Day 9
Morning – bespoke colouring demonstration
Afternoon – colour workshop

Learners will also need to complete 5 days’ work experience in a salon.

Learning Outcomes
The learner will gain huge confidence throughout the 10 days, supported by a 365-page Elements book and 41 online videos, making the learning easier. The book/programme includes everything that they require to become a successful modern behind the chair stylist. Above all, our primary goal is to inspire the learners to get into the workforce.
