- Service approach.
- Practical workshops on real cancer patients and survivors.
- Preparing your treatment area.
- Spa services – how to amend them to suit your client.
- Examination.
Learning Outcomes
You will be able to amend any service you are qualified in, for cancer patients and survivors. If the service is not appropriate, you will be able to determine when it is possible. You will have specific training in how to communicate with the client’s medical team if needed. You will have a better understanding of the client’s needs and concerns, how to deal with emotional subjects. You will have the skills to create a salon/spa setting that is appropriate and welcoming. Most of all, you will know how NOT to cause harm.
Upon completion you will receive a certificate and an OTI t-shirt.
