Image Skillnet has created this Privacy Statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.

Image Skillnet wants to ensure, to our best efforts, that any information you give us remains private and is used only for the purposes outlined in this policy.

A user can access our website, www.imageskillnet.ie, and utilise many of our services without providing any information to us at all.

Image Skillnet will not collect any personal information about you on this website without your consent. We will let you know what we intend doing with your information before collecting it, so that you can decide whether or not to furnish that information to us. Where you volunteer information by emailing us or by using online feedback forms, such information will only be used in line with the purpose for which you provided it.

Image Skillnet maintains a database of its member companies for communicating and data reporting purposes and will be guided by the 7 Data Protection Principles in the use of this data ensuring personal data is:

Processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent mannerInformation will be fairly collected, and on the membership application form members will be informed of how their personal data will be processed i.e. identity of the parties to the processing, the purposes of the processing & the recipients of personal data.
  1. Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes
    National Organic Training Skillnet membership form will notify members of the purpose of collecting their data i.e. to keep them informed of events, next of kin and other information as appropriate. Their data will not be used for any other purpose.
  1. Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary
    Only relevant and necessary information will be collected i.e. individuals name, email address, contact number, relevant group and its address
  1. Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
    On an annual basis the Chairperson will contact members to update data to confirm accuracy.
  1. Retained only for as long as necessary
    Data will be retained only for as long as is needed and will be deleted as soon as the need has passed. Members can delete/remove their details at their request.
  2. Processed in an appropriate manner to maintain security
    In line with principle 1 the National Organic Training Skillnet membership form will notify members the identity of the processing   parties. Data will be stored only on a password protected computer and any hard copy data in locked cabinets in the National Organic Training Skillnet centre, only accessible by authorised staff in line with Principle 2. This data will not be shared with other individuals.
  3. Accountability
    All personal data will be processed in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations [GDPR]
