Requirements
All students will be supplied with all materials and a full kit worth worth €600. Also included are hair extensions worth €275. You must be a fully qualified hairdresser or on an apprenticeship for a minimum of two years to attend. No models are required as mannequin heads are provided.

Course Overview & Course Content
This course is ran over two full days. Both days are from 8.45am to 5pm. Students will be posted their full kit, mannequin and tripod stand prior to course. Everything you need for the two-day course is in the kit and it is your responsibility to bring these items to the course with you.

Continuous training/communication is offered to all students post-course.

Keratin Bonds
Individual vegan keratin bonds, featuring the highest grade resin with a silicone additive to protect the hair. Suitable for all hair types, it desires minimal upkeep. It is ideal for clients that wear their up a lot as it provides 360 degree movement.

Tapes
Reusable slimline tapes featuring a weft of hair that is applied using medical grad adhesive by sandwiching the natural hair between two wefts. Single-sided tape can be used for finer hair. The mesh netting technology makes removal and re-fit application easy while offering minimal residue. Tapes are suitable for all hair types and offers the fastest application time to clients.

I-tip
Individual extensions installed using a small copper bead featuring a polyurethane tip while allowing a non-chemical removal and re-fit.

Volume Weft
A thick weft of hair that is sewn into the natural hair. Provides full coverage, is twice as thick, reusable and requires no heat to apply.

Hand-Tied Weft
Small hand tied knots of hair compressed together to create a chain of hair. Suitable for finer hair as they are lightweight, stackable and flexible. Non chemical application and removal.

Clip-ins
Temporary application method that can be applied daily. These are the perfect solution for guests who do not wish to commit to semi-permanent extensions that have to be maintained in the salon.

The Course Covers:

•Service flow – from consultations to pricing strategies. Bellami will teach you the fundamentals for success. Throughout the course, you will learn the six installation methods and which one best suits each guest’s needs based on various factors.

•Technical install of all six methods. Each application is done on a mannequin head.

•How much hair is needed for the desired look.

•Contraindications; when not to apply extensions to a guest.

•Colour matching/blocking.

•Extension placement/mapping.

•Pricing strategy.

•Removal/re-fitting.

• Cutting.

•Style guide.

Certificate Awarded
Certificate of Attendance/Completion will be given at the end of day 2 of the course.
