Plus 5 days’ work experience in a salon.

Requirements
We would recommend this course for anyone looking to refresh their skill or get back into the hairdressing industry. 12 places are available on this programme.

Materials Required to Take Part
Mannequin heads are included. Learners will need to bring their own;

  • Scissors
  • Cutting Comb
  • Sectioning Clips
  • Brushes – Varied Sizes
  • A Pin Tail Comb
  • Hairdryer
  • Straightener
  • Wand
  • Water spray

Course Overview
This is a 10-day course which will be covering everything from Blow-drying, Appling colour, upstyling to Cutting. It will aim to cover all 10 cutting techniques however depending on the ability of the individuals it could be more like 6-7 techniques we get to cover. It will cover the main ones being the one lengths, long layers so the individual will be capable of doing children’s cut and any client coming in for a full head of highlights and a one length cut for example. A super refresher course for an experienced stylist and an excellent course for any stylist wanting to bring their skill set to the next level. Learners will need to complete 5 days’ work experience and we would be happy to help them secure a salon. Each attendee will receive 3 months’ access to the Online Classics Mastered course, this is an online resource that they can use to further practice their skills they have been thought over the 10-day period.

– Client Consultation for Blow-dries
– Straight Blow-dries
– Curly Blow-dries
– Boho Blow-dries
– Up-styling
– Ironing
– Client preparation and consultation for colouring.
– Colour application procedures i.e meche and balayage
– Combing through Colour
– 10 Cutting Techniques

Learners will also need to complete 5 days’ work experience in a salon.

Learning Outcomes
This course will help the individual with all the basics skills needed to get back into the hairdressing world. The individual will have covered the following:

  • Straight Blow-dries
  • Curly Blow-dries
  • Boho Blow-dries
  • Up-styling
  • Ironing
  • Client preparation and consultation for colouring.
  • Colour application procedures i.e meche and balayage
  • Combing through Colour
  • Between 6- 10 cutting techniques.
