Course overview:

Broadstone Education Clinic with Nicola Lawless is a practical, needs-led training day for qualified hairdressers and assistants looking to strengthen specific areas of their technical work.

Rather than following a fixed curriculum, the training is tailored to the needs of each participant. Nicola will identify areas for development and provide practical demonstration, coaching and feedback to help improve technique, confidence and consistency in the salon.

Training may cover areas such as cutting and shape building, short or long hair cutting, blow-drying and finishing, brush control, sectioning, consultation and refining existing techniques.

Who’s it for:
Qualified hairdressers and assistants who would benefit from focused support in specific areas of their technical work, whether strengthening existing skills or developing confidence in areas they find challenging.

This course is limited to a maximum of 7 total participants.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will:

• Identify and address specific gaps in their technical skills
• Strengthen and refine existing techniques
• Better understand the principles behind the techniques they use
• Improve confidence and consistency in salon services
• Gain practical skills that can be applied directly with clients

Requirements for course:

• Hairdryer (with nozzle)
• Round brushes (small + large)
• Paddle brush
• Vent brush
• Sectioning clips
• Hair Straighter
• Velcro rollers (if you have some)
• Scissors and comb (if doing cutting training)

Participants will need to bring a model or mannequin head, depending on the area they would like to work on.
