In response to the many requests we’ve received from salon owners and managers in both the hair and beauty industries, Alan Austin-Smith has created this bespoke training day especially for Image Skillnet. The Fantastic Salon is aimed towards salon owners and managers and will revolve around two current issues in the salon industry;
1. Effective Management and Leadership.
For salon owners, team leaders, managers, assistant and new managers. Focusing on what your role is – understanding the priorities in order to use your time effectively to get the best results. Improving your organisational and leadership skills. Gaining an understanding of how to get the best out of your team with great communication, and an understanding of motivation.
2. Managing Your Wage Bill/Docket.
It’s the largest expense in your business and it’s the most volatile. Just a few percentage points either way, can make the difference between making a profit or just breaking even. As the business world, we all operate in changes and we are faced by more competition and minimum wage demands etc. Managing this expense is possibly one of the most important things you have to do in your business.
