Starts Monday, 25h of September 2023.

Duration:
2 days per week, Mondays & Wednesdays, for 20 weeks, on the following dates:
25th September to 4th December 2023
8th January to 11th March 2024
Each day will run from 9.30am – 4.30pm
Plus 7 days’ work experience in a spa.
Exam at the end of March 2024

All learners must fully commit, attend and engage with the programme.

Requirements
Anatomy and Physiology knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential. Learners will also need to complete 7 days’ work experience in a spa as part of the course. There are 8 places available on this programme.

Material Required to Take Part
No kits are required for this course. All products, towels, consultation documents, notes and handouts are provided by the college.

Course Overview
This is a comprehensive spa therapy course. Learners will be introduced to the different therapies available in a spa environment. They will be provided with the knowledge and skills to confidently deliver spa therapies both nationally and internationally.

• Treatment and procedures for the use of saunas, steam rooms, affusion/vichy showers, hydro pools, and hydrotherapy baths
• Body exfoliating treatments

• Body massage treatments
• Lymphatic drainage massage treatments
• Aromatherapy massage with pre-blended oils
• Indian head massage
• Deluxe spa pedicures and manicures
• Facials for all skin types
• Client consultation process
