Join Louise and Aileen on this 1-day event where they will present and address the different needs and treatments available to clients who are cancer sufferers and survivors. In the past, ignorance and a lack of knowledge has impeded professionals from helping these cancer fighters and survivors – the very people who may benefit most from spa/beauty and wellness services.
Hear from a cancer survivor on the day who has availed of these treatments, and benefited immensely from them. These treatments can also be suitable for clients with other needs – not just the cancer sufferer, so there really is something for everyone to learn from this seminar.

About Louise O’Loughlin
Beauty Therapist/Oncology Aesthetics Specialist and Educator.
After earning her CIDESCO diploma in Ireland, Louise crossed the big pond to NYC to become an aesthetic trainer. She received a diploma in Teaching on her return to Dublin and for almost 20 years, O’Loughlin has worked with and trained aestheticians all over the globe, and since 2004 has run her own skin care centre, Iguazu Beauty Therapy, in Dublin, Ireland.
Through her experiences, Louise has seen young girls grow and flourish into amazing aestheticians and is very proud to have been part of their educational and career journeys.
In 2018 Louise trained in Oncology Aesthetics in Milan, something that is personal to her. Her mother, the woman who helped prompt her career, fought a long battle with cancer and was unable to receive facials – something she adored. After receiving her Oncology Aesthetics training, Louise now is able to treat those battling the illness to beauty and skin care treatments. Her mission is to help other spa therapist’s to do the same.
“My mission is to make these therapies, in salon and at home, accessible to all those living with cancer. To educate people in how to safely pamper and provide a relaxing environment for people at their most vulnerable time. I have set myself the long term goal of having a beauty professionals in every town in Ireland that is qualified in oncology aesthetics, they can then provide a local service for those in their area.”
Louise launched the first OTI Training in Ireland in April 2019.
