The in-person practical sessions are scheduled as follows:
• Full-day practical sessions: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Evening practical sessions: 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
The course is delivered online and includes nine practical Saturdays held approximately once a month. It may run from September 2026 until September 2027, with two additional months to complete case studies.

Course Overview
This 14-month Professional Training in Reflexology offers a comprehensive education in reflexology, enhanced by integrative approaches to plant-based nutrition and the mind-body connection. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of reflexology techniques and learn how to promote holistic healing through treating the foot reflex zones. This course offers a unique approach to wellness and natural healing by incorporating plant-based nutrition and exploring the mind-body connection. Graduates will be competent to support their patients more completely by guiding them towards enhanced, healthier dietary and lifestyle habits.

Course Content
Principles and Practice of Natural Healing:
This module introduces students to various philosophies and practices within the field of natural healing. The first part focuses on understanding key concepts in healing philosophies, including atomism versus vitalism, and materialism versus holistic approaches. In the second part, students critically analyse the principles of natural healing, exploring how these concepts are applied in practical health contexts. By the end of the module, students will be able to articulate and compare these philosophies, apply natural healing principles to practical scenarios, and communicate their understanding effectively. The module encourages the development of critical thinking and reflection on natural healing practices in a structured and supportive learning environment.
Reflexology I:
This introductory module provides a comprehensive foundation in the study of reflexology, exploring its rich history and core principles. Students will delve into the origins of reflexology, understanding the key theoretical concepts that form the basis of the practice. Additionally, the module introduces essential relaxation techniques, which are fundamental for both practitioners and patients in a reflexology setting. Through this module, students will gain the foundational knowledge required to advance to more practical and advanced reflexology studies.
Human Sciences:
This module provides a foundational understanding of human anatomy and physiology, focusing on key body systems. In the first part, students explore the endocrine and digestive systems, gaining insights into their functions and interconnections within the body. The second part covers the nervous, respiratory, and lymphatic systems, offering a detailed examination of their roles in maintaining health and bodily functions. By the end of the module, students will have a comprehensive understanding of these systems and how they contribute to overall health and how to apply this knowledge in treating patients with reflexology and specific dietary advice.
Reflexology II:
This module focuses on applying reflexology techniques specifically for treating the digestive system. In the first part, students explore the importance of the digestive organs, with a focus on the bowel and colon, learning techniques to address conditions affecting these areas. In the second part, the module covers reflexology techniques for the liver, gallbladder, stomach, spleen, and pancreas, providing students with specialised knowledge to treat conditions related to these organs. This module builds on foundational reflexology skills, allowing students to deepen their expertise in digestive system treatments.
Vitalist Nutrition:
This module introduces students to the fundamentals of nutrition, emphasising a holistic approach based on vitalist principles. In the first part, students learn about the digestive process, macronutrients, and micronutrients, exploring the roles of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in metabolism and energy production. The second part covers the importance of fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals in maintaining optimal health, with a focus on the ethical implications of food choices and the debate between vitalism and atomism in nutrition. The understanding of enzymes, as central to vitalistic nutrition, is core to this module and students learn about the benefits of consuming raw, fruits and vegetables, sprouted seeds and legumes, and juices and smoothies. By the end of this module, students will have a solid understanding of nutrition’s foundational principles and how to apply them within a vitalist framework.
Reflexology III:
In this module, students focus on reflexology techniques for treating the spine and the kidneys, bladder, and adrenal glands. The first part emphasises the importance of spinal health and teaching techniques to address various spinal conditions through reflexology. In the second part, students learn how to treat the kidneys, bladder, and adrenal glands, with a focus on conditions affecting these organs. This module expands the student’s understanding of reflexology’s application to key areas of the body, providing deeper insights into treatment methods for these crucial systems.
Human Sciences II:
Building on the foundation laid in Human Sciences I, this module delves into further anatomical and physiological systems. In the first part, students explore the skeletal, blood, and cardiovascular systems, gaining an understanding of their essential roles in the body’s structure and circulation. The second part focuses on the reproductive and urinary systems, as well as the special senses, providing insight into the body’s reproductive functions and sensory perception. By the end of the module, students will have a deeper understanding of these systems, allowing them to apply this knowledge in their reflexology practices.
Reflexology IV:
This module covers reflexology techniques for treating the lungs, cardiovascular, and lymphatic systems. The first part focuses on the role of the lungs and respiratory health, teaching students reflexology techniques for treating respiratory system conditions. In the second part, students will learn about the importance of the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, applying reflexology techniques to support these crucial bodily systems. This module enhances students’ ability to apply reflexology to vital organs and systems, broadening their expertise as reflexologists.
Reflexology V:
This module addresses reflexology techniques for treating the reproductive system, as well as the head, brain, and special senses. In the first part, students focus on the role of the reproductive system and its associated conditions, learning reflexology techniques that target the reproductive organs and provide therapeutic relief. In the second part, the module covers the importance of the head, brain, and special senses, equipping students with reflexology skills to treat these areas effectively. By the end of this module, students will have a deepened understanding of how to apply reflexology to support reproductive health and cognitive functions.

The academic content of the course is delivered online, utilising podcasts, videos, and discussion forums. Students are assigned a personal tutor who moderates group discussions and is available to answer queries. Qualification and Professional Practice
This course is designed to prepare students for professional practice as reflexologists. Its holistic approach considers all aspects of a patient’s lifestyle and health, with a focus on diet. Upon successful completion of the course and examination, students will receive a Diploma in Ordanic Nutrition and Vitalistic Reflexology from Core College. Graduates are eligible to apply for professional indemnity insurance with OBF Insurance.
