This course is suitable for beauty therapists, skin specialists and beauticians with a minimum Level 1 qualification.

Course Overview
This one-off opportunity is a must for any beauty therapist! With just 14 spaces, Louise will teach this hands-on workshop in MLD (Manual Lymph Drainage) and Bespoke Facials for Dry Compromised Skin. Ideal for anyone trained in Oncology Aesthetics and all facialists and beauty therapists.

Course Content
The course includes 3 hours of theory. Covered in this is the Voder Method, history of Manual Lymph Drainage, ingredients to use on a client with compromised skin due to external and internal medications/pollution/illnesses, and best practice. A full protocol and practice of both massage and facial will be taught.
Power Point presentations, work sheets, multiple-choice questionnaire and a hands-on workshop will take place on the day. Students will be assessed on their competency during the treatment.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the learner will have a good knowledge of the history and practical use of MLD. They will know how to perform a MLD facial massage and full facial for a client with compromised skin. They will have a good understanding of the causes and treatments for compromised skin and how to create a home care programmes for such clients.
