Who is this course suitable for
This course is suitable for anyone working in the hair, beauty or barbering industry.

Requirements

  • Qualified in your respective field (proof of qualifications required)
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience in the area you wish to teach
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Access to a laptop/tablet to complete coursework and portfolio
  • Willingness to complete 100 hours of work experience (fully supported and facilitated on-site)

Course Overview
This comprehensive course is designed to equip aspiring educators with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to teach, assess, and support learners in a variety of education and training settings. Whether working one-to-one or in group settings, participants will develop a strong foundation in inclusive, learner-centred teaching practices, and become qualified to deliver VTCT and ITEC-accredited qualifications in their specialist area.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, learners will:

  • Be confident in planning and delivering structured class plans and schemes of work.
