Requirements
This course is suitable for complete beginners, or anyone who has been working in the industry and is looking for a formal qualification.

Course Overview
This beauty course runs twice a week in the evenings – one theory class, and one practical class each week. Theory classes are delivered online through Zoom. Practical classes take place in the college where students will work on each other or models. Assignments are to be completed between classes.

• Ingredients in products used
• Skin analysis
• Consultation
• Professionalism / ethics
• Sanitisation
• Contraindications
• Skin diseases
• Anatomy and physiology
• Contouring
• Colour matching
• Scientific underpinning knowledge
• Skincare
• Underpinning knowledge for manicure, pedicure and waxing
• Facial electrical treatments
• Structure of the hair
• Structure of the skin and nails
• Types of foundation/concealers/shadows etc

Practical Classes Cover:

• Manicures, pedicures and nail painting
• Make-up – day, night, occasion, bridal, and conturing looks
• Skincare – consultations, skin analysis, deep cleansing, facial massage, facial masks and moisturisation
• Eye treatments – tinting of brows and lashes
• Waxing – hot and cold wax on bikini, underarm, legs, lip, chin, eyebrows and sides of face
• Facial electrical treatments – faradic, galvanic, microcurrent, vaccum suction, high frequency

• CIBTAC / ITEC Level 3 Beauty Specialist with Facial Electrics
