Requirements
Learners will need 4 models for the salon professional treatment day. This is at the end of the course. Working on models will build confidence and ensure that learners can work and complete services within the expected treatment time.

Course Overview
Learners on this course will gain the knowledge and skills to offer a competent and professional hair removal treatment using both hot and cool waxing techniques. On completion of the course they will be competent to deliver these treatments and meet the requirements of the industry standards.

Course Content
During this course you will learn;

• Anatomy & Physiology of the Hair
• The Endocrine System and Disorders of Hair Growth
• Practical Application of both Hot and Cool Wax
• Advanced Waxing Techniques for Intimate Waxing
• Business and Professional Practice

Learning Outcomes
Learners will know how to;

• Identify contraindications to waxing treatments
• Identify indications for the use of each waxing system
• Understand hygiene control, and health and safety measures
• Prepare and conclude a waxing service for the full legs, underarms, bikini including Brazilian and Hollywood, face, arms, and the back and chest area for men
