Requirements
This course is designed for artists with some existing experience in permanent makeup or microblading who are looking to advance into Nano hairstroke techniques.
Participants should:
- Have prior PMU or Microblading experience
- Be confident with basic brow mapping before attending
- Complete pre-course online theory before academy days
This is a structured certification programme requiring completion of homework, mapping practice and model work.
Course Overview
This Nano Realistic Hairstrokes course is designed to help artists transition into advanced machine-based hairstroke techniques, with a strong focus on natural, healed results.
The programme follows a structured four-stage learning system combining online theory, in-person academy training, ongoing mentorship and final certification.
Students will gain both the technical ability and the confidence to deliver Nano hairstrokes and combination brows safely and professionally.
Course Content
The training program is divided into four key steps, covering the following topics:
1. Online Theory (Pre-Learning)
- 25 structured modules (approx. 8 hours)
- Skin anatomy and Fitzpatrick scale
- Pigment colour theory and selection
- Needle knowledge and machine control
- Hygiene, safety and blood-borne pathogens
- Contraindications and patch testing
- Brow mapping fundamentals (including S.C mapping videos)
2. In-Academy Practical Training (3 Days)
- Latex and live model practice
- Nano hairstroke design and execution
- Combination brows (Nano + powder)
- Skin-to-ink techniques for healed results
- Machine handling, speed and movement control
- Demonstrations and guided hands-on work
3. Ongoing Support & Coursework (Up to 12 Months)
- Continuous trainer feedback and mentoring
- Homework submission and corrections
- Private support throughout all learning levels
- Required completion of:
- 20+ latex practice brows
- 10 mapping models
- 10 successful Nano models
4. Final Assessment & Certification (Day 4)
- Final practical assessment
- Certification upon successful completion
- ABT Accredited certification awarded by Sinéad Corcoran, Kelly Cosmetics Ltd
