We require a refundable deposit of €300. This is on the basis that you meet the eligibility criteria. (All learners must fully commit and engage with the programme). This deposit is a standard procedure and serves as a commitment from your side to participate in the course. Rest assured that the deposit will be fully refunded upon completion of the course. We will promptly refund the full deposit amount back to the original payment method you used during registration. Course Overview
This Beauty Therapy Course is a comprehensive program tailored for individuals who are new to the field of beauty therapy. This course provides a strong foundation in various standard and on trend beauty treatments and techniques. It includes modules from recognized qualifications such as ITEC and AIT diplomas and certifications. Additionally, the course offers in-house modules focusing on career planning, job-seeking skills, and social media.
By completing this course, students will gain foundational knowledge and practical skills in a wide range of beauty treatments, including skincare, spray tanning, lash and brow treatments, waxing, threading, make-up application, manicure and pedicure, and more. The inclusion of career planning, job-seeking skills, and social media proficiency modules ensures that graduates are well-equipped to pursue successful careers in the beauty industry.

Learners will also need to complete 5 days’ work experience in a salon, once a week from October 5th.

Course Content
ITEC Diploma for Beauty Specialists:
This module covers essential knowledge and skills required to become a beauty specialist. Students will learn about skincare, facial treatments, make-up, manicure, pedicure and salon etiquette. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of the beauty industry including health and safety, communication and client care.
Beautorium AIT accredited Bperfect Spray Tanning Certificate:
This module focuses on spray tanning techniques with brand recognised Bperfect trainers. Students will learn how to safely and effectively apply spray tan solutions, achieve an even and natural-looking tan, and provide clients with a satisfying tanning experience.
Beautorium AIT accredited Lash Lift Certificate:
This module covers lash lift techniques. Students will learn how to enhance the appearance of lashes through these popular treatments, achieving lifted & voluminous lashes.
Beautorium AIT Accredited Threading Certificate:
This module introduces students to the art of threading, a technique for hair removal. Students will learn how to shape eyebrows and remove unwanted facial hair using threading, a precise and efficient method of hair removal.
Beautorium AIT Certificate in Gel Polish Application:
This module focuses on gel polish application for nails. Students will learn how to prepare the nails, apply gel polish, and achieve a durable, glossy finish. They will also learn about nail health and proper removal techniques.
Product Training in Top Industry Brands :
This module provides students with product training in renowned beauty industry skincare brands. They will gain familiarity with various products, their uses, and application techniques, enabling them to make informed choices for their clients.
Career Planning and Job Seeking Skills (In-house module):
This module equips students with essential skills for planning their career in the spa industry. It covers resume writing, interview techniques, and strategies for finding employment or self employment.
Social Media Skills (In-house module):
With the growing importance of digital marketing, this module provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to leverage social media platforms effectively. They will learn how to create engaging content, promote their services, and attract clients through social media channels

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the trainees will be able to:

• Demonstrate proficiency in a range of beauty treatments including facials, hand and foot treatments, lash tinting, lash lifting, brow tinting and shaping, spray tanning, waxing, threading, gel polish.
• Apply appropriate techniques, tools and products to achieve desired results
• Understand and implement proper hygiene and safety protocols throughout all treatments
• Understand the structure and functions of the major body systems relevant to beauty therapy
• Understand cosmetic science in relation to all products being used
• Understand how to alter treatments to meet the expectations of clients
• Understand expected client care, communication and health and safety skills including understanding contraindications
• Understand how to utilise social media platforms to create engaging content, promote beauty services and attract clients
• Develop strategies for career advancement and professional growth

Project Work & Exams
Practical and theory examinations are required for all modules. ITEC courses are externally assessed by an ITEC examiner.
Case studies and evidence of treatments are required for all modules.
Home study and class assessments (practical and theory) will be required throughout the course.
