This course is designed specifically for beauty salon owners and managers emerging from lockdown. Together with Liz Mc Keon, you can look at your business, with emphasis on how you manage and drive it.  Changing times help salon owners to explore new structures within your business and more importantly how you will secure new business in the future. Clients will naturally gravitate to the people, salons and brands who are positive about what is happening…..be that positive person.  You are the engine and the driving force behind your business.  Get ready for your salon comeback!

There will be 6 groups running, with 20 places in each group. The weekly group times and dates are as follows;

Course Content
Course is divided into Phase 1 and Phase 2

Phase 1: (Weekly sessions)

Module 1:  The importance of salon money management, post lockdown:

  1. Euro potential for your salon
  2. Time to set new financial goals for your business
  3. Let’s figure out how to get more money from fewer clients
  4. Improved diary management
  5. Know your numbers

Module 2:  How to wow your clients so they want to come back more often and spend more money:

  1. How improving your customer service will improve your money
  2. The importance of making a great first impression, post covid 19
  3. What is your salon’s unique selling point?
  4. What are your goals for your clients – how to make sure they are longterm/lifetime clients
  5. The importance of professional conversation in the salon

Module 3:  7 Steps to selling your services and products:

  1. High sales = salon success, low sales = salon failure
  2. Reasons why sales are lost in your salon
  3. Stop worrying about ‘being pushy’
  4. Team sales training for highly motivated therapists and happy clients
  5. All therapists to be financial assets in your salon

Module 4:  How to manage your team and your columns (even if you are the team)

  1. When the going gets tough, how to keep going
  2. Knowing a great therapist
  3. 7 steps to prepare for each day for financial success
  4. Team motivation and salon morale
  5. Effective salon communication

Module 5:  Goal setting for you and your business, to ensure on-going salon success:

  1. Common characteristics of successful salon owners
  2. Roles and responsibilities of being a salon owner
  3. Introducing daily targets to your team
  4. Managing daily targets
  5. Top 10 tips to running a successful salon

Phase 2:  (Monthly sessions)

Month 1: (September)
Your biggest challenge since last session (Each person to submit 48 hours prior to session) and how to solve this.

Month 2: (October)
Check in on progress since last month.
Develop the ‘dream team’ – design your salon recruitment and induction process.

Month 3: (November)
Check in on progress since last month.
How to improve your business model and day to day salon operations.

Month 4: (December)
Check in on progress since last month.
Christmas marketing plan of action.
Goal setting for a successful January 2021.
