Image Skillnet was delighted to receive Business All-Star Accreditation in addition to winning a prestigious Business All-Star Award in Croke Park on May 2nd. The not-for-profit, enterprise-led training network has been supporting the hair & beauty sector within the Republic of Ireland for the last two years.
Over the last few months, the Image Skillnet team has been busy working with the All-Ireland Business Foundation to achieve their Business All-Star Accreditation Certificate. This accreditation is an outstanding achievement, and recognises the hard work and dedication of the team in providing a best-in-class service to all of their members. Image Skillnet received their official Certificate at the awards ceremony in Croke Park on Wednesday May 1st.
On Thursday May 2nd, the hair and beauty training network overcame tough competition in a live Judging final, emerging victorious to be recognised as Business All Star Award Winners from the Education Business section.

In achieving this accreditation, Image Skillnet joins a unique group of businesses that continues to demonstrate commitment to improving the service to customers and suppliers.

Speaking after picking up the trophy, Image Skillnet Network Manager Margaret O’Rourke-Doherty said: “We were delighted and honoured to be crowned Business All Star Award Winners. This is a significant achievement for the network and our team who are so passionate about supporting the hair and beauty sector.”
Margaret continued “I would like to thank our funders Skillnet Ireland and the Department of Education and Skills for the support they have given us over the years. They have enabled our organisation to support the industry and make a real difference on a national scale, delivered from the rural location of Drumshanbo.
“Finally, I would encourage all employers and employees to get involved with Skillnet Ireland. With 67 networks nationally, there is undoubtedly a sectoral or regional network that can support your business and employees to upskill”.
